END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

1. LICENCE GRANT

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial use.

2. PURPOSE OF THE APP

The App is designed to read standard generic OBD-II diagnostic data made available by compatible vehicles through supported adapters. This may include general fault codes, emissions-related information, and selected live engine or powertrain data where available.

• READ-ONLY MODE: The App operates in a strictly read-only mode. It cannot write data to, clear codes from, modify, or harm your vehicle's electronic control units (ECUs).

• NOT A DEALER TOOL: The App is not a manufacturer diagnostic tool, dealer tool, or professional mechanical inspection service.

3. IMPORTANT COVERAGE LIMITATIONS

The App does not provide vehicle-specific or manufacturer-level diagnostics. The App may not access, inspect, diagnose, or verify:

• EXCLUDED SYSTEMS: Brakes, tyres, steering, suspension, airbags / SRS systems, ABS / traction systems, body control modules, and immobiliser / security systems.

• EXCLUDED FUNCTIONS: Transmission specialist functions, service resets / coding / programming, structural or physical vehicle condition, and all faults present on the vehicle.

• FAULT-FREE DISCLAIMER: A result showing no fault codes does not mean the vehicle is fault-free.

4. AI AND INFORMATIONAL GUIDANCE

The App may generate explanations or guidance using automated systems or artificial intelligence.

• INFORMATIONAL ESTIMATES ONLY: These outputs are informational estimates only and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific vehicle or circumstances. You should not rely solely on App outputs when making repair, purchase, or safety decisions.

5. NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

The App does not replace diagnosis, inspection, or advice from a qualified automotive technician. Where symptoms persist, warning lights remain on, or the vehicle behaves abnormally, professional inspection is recommended.

6. SAFETY WARNING

Do not rely on the App where the vehicle appears unsafe. If the vehicle overheats, loses power, misfires severely, stalls, displays flashing warning lights, makes dangerous noises, or feels unsafe to drive, stop where safe and seek professional assistance.

7. COMPATIBILITY

Use of the App may require third-party OBD-II adapters and compatible devices. We do not guarantee compatibility with every vehicle, adapter, phone, operating system, ECU, or model year. Vehicle manufacturers may limit or vary available data.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

• INDIRECT LOSSES: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or financial losses arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the App.

• LEGAL RIGHTS PRESERVED: Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other protected legal rights.

9. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for:

• Using the App safely and lawfully.

• Ensuring the vehicle is stationary where appropriate.

• Deciding whether professional diagnosis is needed.

• Any repair or maintenance decisions you make.

• The proper use of third-party hardware.

10. RESTRICTIONS

You may not:

• Copy, resell, rent, sublicense, or distribute the App.

• Reverse engineer except where legally permitted.

• Misuse the App or connected services.

• Attempt unauthorised access to systems.

11. UPDATES AND AVAILABILITY

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice. Free features may change or be removed.

12. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access where this Agreement is breached.

13. PRIVACY

Use of the App may involve collection or processing of technical, diagnostic, or device data. Please review our official Privacy Policy page hosted alongside this document.

14. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer law in your place of residence applies.
